Wong Kai Chong is an entrepreneur like many and his first entrepreneurial stint was starting a casual games development company in early 2016, and an entrepreneurs’ community in Google+ on 2012.
During his time in Temasek Polytechnic, he represented his school and his company, KAI Studio, previously a casual games development studio, in a SEA Makerthon 2016 held in United World College of South East Asia Tampines here in Singapore and came in third with his thermal imaging food/waste sorter.
Before polytechnic, Kai Chong was top in his course and represented his school in entrepreneurship competitions such as Now You Can 2, and even represented Singapore overseas in Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan for more competitions. Not only does he have experience in competitions, he had leadership opportunities and was the president of Magic Club where he taught students magic tricks, organised events and prepared each weekly session.
In Temasek Secondary, Kai Chong was also top in his class and was the president of Photography Club. He was also a member of the Peer Support Leader, a variation of Students Councillors in other schools.
